The Honest Truth About Shipping
Look, we're going to level with you because we respect your time and intelligence.
Here's how our shipping actually works:
ChestTrainer products ship from our warehouse network across North America, Australia, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. We don't pretend everything ships from next door when it doesn't. Depending on where you are and where your order gets fulfilled from, shipping times can vary.
But here's what we promise: Fast processing, tracked shipping, and honest communication every step of the way.

Where Do We Ship
So we can ensure the fastest and best service possible, from January 2026, we are only shipping to USA, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Canada. We are working on finding better shipping partners in Europe, Asia and The Middle East and once we do, we will be able to service your area. Sorry folks!
Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
That means:
- Order placed Monday? Likely gets dispatched to our courier on Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Order placed Friday night? Dispatched on Monday or Tuesday.
- Order placed during a major sale? Might take the full 2 days (we're human, not Amazon robots). If we are going to be late in dispatch, we will email you!
You'll get a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.
Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Shipping Times
Here's the reality:
🇦🇺 Australia
Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days (sometimes faster)
- Metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane): Often 5 days
- Regional areas: 7-10 days depending on location
- Remote areas: Up to 12 business days
🇺🇸 United States
Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days
- Major cities: Often 5-7 days
- Rural areas: 10-14 days
- Alaska/Hawaii: Add 4-5 days

Estimated delivery: 5-9 business days
- Major cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal): 6-8days
- Other areas: 12-16 days

🇬🇧 United Kingdom
Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days
- England: Usually 10-12 days
- Scotland/Wales/NI: 12-15 days
- Customs delays possible (Brexit bureaucracy, not our fault)
🇳🇿 New Zealand
Estimated delivery: 7-10 business days
- North Island: Often 6-8 days
- South Island: 8-12 days
International orders go through customs. We have zero control over how long that takes. Could be 1 day, could be 7 days. Usually it's 2-3 days. We will always try and ship your item from the closest warehouse to your location.
Why These Times?
Here's what actually happens when you order:
- You place order → We receive it within minutes
- We process it → 1-2 business days (picking, packing, quality check)
- We ship it → Gets picked up by courier same/next day
- In transit → 5-15 days depending on destination and courier network
- Customs clearance → 1-7 days (unpredictable)
- Local delivery → 1-3 days (your local courier gets it to your door - this is solely dependent on their schedules which we have no control over)
We ship from the warehouse closest to you to minimize transit time. But we're not Amazon with 47 distribution centers. Sometimes your order comes from Australia, sometimes Asia, sometimes North America, sometimes the UK.
We're honest about this because we hate when brands pretend they're local and then your order takes 3 weeks.

Tracking Your Order
Every order gets a tracking number.
You'll receive:
- Order confirmation email (immediately)
- Shipping confirmation email with tracking (within 1-2 days of item being shipped)
- Delivery confirmation (when it arrives)
Track your order:
- Click the tracking link in your shipping email
- Use the tracking number on the courier's website
- Email us if tracking isn't updating (sometimes happens)
Tracking quirks to know:
- Sometimes tracking doesn't update for 24-72 hours after shipping (normal)
- "In transit" can last several days (especially international)
- Customs doesn't always scan packages (shows up when it clears)
- Local courier receives it 1-2 days before delivery
Don't panic if tracking seems stuck. Most orders arrive on time even when tracking is slow to update.
Customs & Duties (International Orders)
Here's the deal with customs:

- We mark all packages with accurate values (legally required)
- We include proper customs documentation
- We use HS codes to minimize duty charges
What You Might Pay
Import duties/taxes vary by country. We don't control this - your government does.
Most common scenarios:
🇺🇸 United States: Usually no duties under $800 USD 🇨🇦 Canada: Possible duties/GST on orders over $150 CAD 🇬🇧 United Kingdom: VAT included in our price (Brexit compliance) 🇪🇺 European Union: VAT may apply, varies by country 🇦🇺 🇳🇿 Australia/NZ: Usually no duties under $1000 AUD/NZD
We're not customs experts for every country. If you're unsure, Google "[your country] import duty threshold" before ordering.
We cannot mark packages as "gift" or undervalue them. That's customs fraud and we won't do it.
What If My Order Is Late?
First, check the estimated delivery window. Most "late" orders are actually still within the timeframe - people just forget shipping takes 8-10 days, not 2-3.
If your order is genuinely late (past the estimated window):
- Check tracking first - see where it's stuck
- Email us at support@chesttrainer.com with your order number
- We'll investigate - contact the courier, check customs status, etc.
- We'll resolve it - either track it down or reship/refund
We've never had an order disappear permanently. Sometimes they get stuck in customs for a week, sometimes the courier is slow, but they always show up eventually.
If it's been 30+ days and still no package? We'll reship or refund. Your choice.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Lost in Transit
Rare, but it happens.
If tracking shows delivered but you didn't receive it:
- Check with neighbors/building manager
- Confirm the delivery address was correct
- Wait 24 hours (sometimes marked delivered early)
Still missing after 48 hours? Email us. We'll file a claim with the courier and either reship or refund you.
Damaged in Transit
Also rare, but couriers can be rough.
If your package arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the box AND the product
- Email us within 48 hours of delivery
- We'll send a replacement immediately (no need to return the damaged one)
We package stuff well, but if a courier plays football with your box, we'll make it right.
Can I Change My Shipping Address?
Maybe. Depends on timing.
Before it ships (first 24 hours): Yes, email us ASAP and we'll update it.
After it ships: No. Once the courier has it, we can't redirect it.
Exception: Some couriers allow address changes via their tracking portal. Check your tracking link.
Do You Ship to PO Boxes / Parcel Lockers?
No, we require a street address as we cannot determine or control the policies of local couriers who are the final handlers of your package.
Holiday & Peak Season Delays
Be realistic during busy periods:
- Christmas (Nov-Dec): Add 4-6 days to all estimates
- Black Friday/Cyber Monday: Add 3-5 days processing time
- Chinese New Year (Jan-Feb): Asia warehouse closed 1-2 weeks
- Natural disasters/strikes: We'll email you if there are delays
We'll always communicate if there's an issue. Check your email.
Express/Expedited Shipping
We do not offer this option because:
- Some locations don't have express courier options
- International express is crazy expensive ($50-100+)
- Express doesn't skip customs (biggest delay for international)
Our honest take: For most people, standard shipping is fine. Express is for people who NEED it this week, not people who just want it faster.
Can I Pick Up My Order?
Not currently. We operate warehouses, not retail stores.
Everything ships. No local pickup available.
What If I'm Not Home for Delivery?
Depends on the courier:
Check your tracking for delivery instructions. Most couriers let you redirect to a pickup location via their website or you may authorise them to leave at your door.
