What's Covered

ChestTrainer products are built to last years, not months. We use quality materials and construction because we want you using this thing in 2030, not replacing it in 6 months.

Our 12-month warranty covers:

✅ Manufacturing defects - If something breaks due to faulty construction or materials
✅ Structural failures - Handles breaking, frame cracking, welds failing (when used properly)
✅ Resistance band failures - Bands snapping or tearing under normal use
✅ Hardware failures - Buckles, clips, or connection points breaking
✅ Stitching failures - Wraps or straps coming apart at seams

Warranty period: 12 months from delivery date

What's NOT Covered

We'll cover defects, but we won't cover abuse. Fair?

❌ Normal wear and tear - Resistance bands naturally wear over time with heavy use (6-12 months typical lifespan)
❌ Misuse or abuse - Using wrong resistance levels, exceeding weight limits, improper storage
❌ Accidental damage - You dropped it, stepped on it, dog chewed it, etc.
❌ Modifications - You altered or modified the product
❌ Commercial use - Using it in a gym/studio (this is designed for home use)
❌ Cosmetic issues - Scratches, scuffs, fading that don't affect function

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 1: Contact Us

Email support@chesttrainer.com with:

• Order number or proof of purchase
• Photos/video of the defect or issue
• Description of what happened and when

Step 2: We'll Assess

We'll review within 24-48 hours and determine if it's covered.

If it's a clear defect:

• We'll send replacement parts immediately (free shipping)
• You keep the defective product (no need to return it)

If we need more info:

• We might ask for additional photos or details
• Rare, but sometimes we need to see the issue more clearly

If it's not covered:

• We'll explain why and offer options (buy replacement parts at cost, upgrade to new model, etc.)

Step 3: Receive Replacement

For covered warranty claims:

• Replacement parts ship within 1-2 business days
• FREE shipping worldwide (we cover it)
• Usually arrives within 7-14 days depending on location

Common Warranty Scenarios

✅ COVERED - We'll Replace Free

"One of my resistance bands snapped during a chest press"
→ Covered. We'll send replacement bands immediately.

"The handle grip split after 3 months of normal use"
→ Covered. Manufacturing defect - replacement handle shipped free.

"The connection point cracked while adjusting resistance"
→ Covered. Structural failure - we'll send replacement unit.

"Wrist wraps stitching came apart after 2 weeks"
→ Covered. Poor stitching - replacement wraps on the way.

❌ NOT COVERED - But We'll Help

"I've used it daily for 18 months and the bands are stretched out"
→ Not covered (normal wear), but we'll offer replacement bands at 40% off.

"I was doing pull-ups on it and the handle bent" (ChestTrainer isn't designed for pull-ups)
→ Not covered (misuse), but we'll sell you replacement parts at cost.

"My dog chewed through the resistance bands"
→ Not covered (accidental damage), but replacement bands are $19.

"It's been sitting in my garage for 2 years and now it's rusty"
→ Not covered (improper storage), but we can help you refurbish it.

Outside Australia - International Warranty

Warranty is worldwide, but here's how it works:

🌍 All countries: 12-month warranty applies
📦 Replacement shipping: FREE worldwide (we cover it)
⚠️ Return shipping: If we need the defective part back (rare), you cover return shipping

We rarely ask for returns on warranty claims. If a band snaps, we don't need it back - just send us a photo and we'll ship replacements.

After the Warranty Period

What happens after 12 months?

Your ChestTrainer doesn't self-destruct at day 366.

If something breaks after warranty expires:

• Contact us anyway
• We'll assess the issue
• If it's clearly a manufacturing defect that should've lasted longer, we'll likely still replace it (we're reasonable)
• If it's normal wear, we'll sell you replacement parts at cost (cheaper than retail)

Replacement parts available:

• Resistance bands (3-pack): $19
• Wrist wraps (pair): $15
• Handles/grips: $12
• Complete resistance band set (all levels): $35

We don't want you buying a whole new unit because one part wore out.

Our Commitment to Quality

Why we're confident enough to offer 12 months:

We've tested ChestTrainer to handle:

• 50kg/110lb resistance (PRO model)
• 10,000+ reps without structural failure
• Daily use for 2+ years in testing
• Temperature extremes (garage storage, outdoor use)

Most warranty claims we see:

• Defective resistance bands (1-2% failure rate, usually in first 3 months)
• Rare stitching issues on wraps (less than 1%)
• Handle grip splitting (very rare, usually user error but we replace anyway)

Total warranty claim rate: Under 1%

That means 99% of customers never need to use the warranty. The product just works.

But for that 1% who get a defective unit or part? We've got you covered.

Fine Print

• Warranty begins on delivery date
• Proof of purchase required (order number)
• Warranty is non-transferable (original purchaser only)
• Warranty void if product is modified or used commercially
• We reserve the right to replace defective products with equivalent models if exact model is discontinued
• This warranty is in addition to (not instead of) your statutory consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law or applicable consumer protection laws in your region
